The Design
The PH Grand Piano both draws the eye and captivates the imagination. It is designed to reveal the inner workings of the instrument, showcasing the beautiful and precise mechanisms contained within.
Transparency replaces the traditional ‘black box’, and one can see in at the key-bed, and through the stunning lid with its elegantly curved fretwork. The streamlined case is wrapped in soft leather banding, and stands on curved legs that give the instrument a lightness of appearance.
In this reimagined piano design, Poul Henningsen lets the piano be seen and heard in a new way.

Every handcrafted PH Grand Piano can be configured to suit the setting and aesthetic of its space. The PH Grand Piano comes in a full range of sizes, from PH150 to PH208 cm in length.
